The one party state

A one party state rules the labourer;

He cannot survive his life of terror.

Production falters, whilst the profits soar;

The boss gets richer, the workforce more poor.

The oppressive force suppresses revolt;

No rights, no voice; returns come to a halt.

The workers protest, yet to no avail;

The market crashes, as the workers fail.

The corrupted reign, which still stands today,

Inept and idle, the toilers must pay.

This institution will remain the same,

Nothing can be done to lessen the pain.
